Must-Have Experience

  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CCB)

  • Experience with C2M / C2 or related CCB modules

  • Prior experience testing CCB applications in Utility domain environments

  • Solid understanding of Utility Operations, metering, billing, and customer service processes


Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle CCB Test Lead to drive and manage end-to-end testing activities for Oracle CCB projects. This role involves overseeing test strategy, test planning, test execution, coordination with cross-functional teams, and ensuring delivery of high-quality, defect-free releases. Candidates must bring strong domain expertise and hands-on testing leadership in CCB implementations or upgrades.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full testing lifecycle for Oracle CCB projects including test planning, scripting, execution, and reporting

  • Manage and coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), regression cycles, and cutover testing

  • Develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases aligned with business & technical requirements

  • Ensure adherence to testing standards, compliance frameworks, and best practices

  • Collaborate with business users, functional SMEs, technical teams, and stakeholders to resolve defects and validate requirements

  • Manage defect lifecycle using standard defect tracking tools and ensure timely closure

  • Track testing metrics, provide daily/weekly status updates, and ensure test readiness for each release

  • Ensure testing coverage across CCB modules: customer data, billing, payments, collections, rates, metering

  • Participate in requirement reviews and contribute to test strategy improvements

  • Work closely with PMO and QA governance teams to ensure alignment with quality gates

  • Support cutover activities, production validation, and hypercare testing


Preferred / Good-to-Have

  • Experience with Test Automation tools, preferably Tosca (automation for CCB is a strong plus)

  • Ability to create automation-ready test suites

  • Understanding of end-to-end Customer Information Systems (CIS)

  • Familiarity with SOAP/REST-based integrations in CIS architecture

  • Exposure to Agile delivery frameworks
