Job Details
Seeking an experienced Agile Business Systems Analyst/User Acceptance Tester to join its software development team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in business analysis and UAT within Agile/Scrum environments. This individual must be highly proficient in Agile practices, including user story writing, requirements gathering, and planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
The candidate must demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills and be capable of producing quality documentation and stakeholder communication across all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Agile teams, technical staff, business partners, and vendors to gather and document requirements.
- Translate business requirements, use cases, and acceptance criteria into comprehensive test scripts and test scenarios.
- Coordinate and prepare end-users for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Conduct UAT planning, execution, defect logging, and re-testing of resolved issues.
- Track requirements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Document business processes, data flow diagrams, and system interactions.
- Identify and document project risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Deliver project documentation and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
- Maintain and utilize tools such as Microsoft Office 365 Suite, Visio, Draw.io, Azure DevOps (ADO), X-Ray, JIRA, and Confluence.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst and/or UAT Tester for medium to large projects.
- Proven ability to:
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional Agile teams and stakeholders.
- Identify test scenarios from business requirements.
- Write and execute test scripts based on use cases and acceptance criteria.
- Track and manage defects, ensuring proper resolution and re-testing.
- Document detailed business requirements and workflows.
- Analyze and document business processes and data flows.
- Identify and manage project risks.
- Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the SDLC.
- Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Visio, Draw.io, Azure DevOps, X-Ray, JIRA, and Confluence.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
