Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to support advanced document processing and automation initiatives involving Adobe Acrobat workflows. This contractor will play a key role in optimizing PDF-based operations, developing automation solutions, and maintaining legacy tools critical to business functions.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and technical capabilities, with flexibility in technology use to achieve outcomes efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Programmatically manipulate Adobe Acrobat files, including:

    • Merging, renaming, and copying PDFs

    • Managing bookmarks and hyperlinks

    • Applying confidentiality statements and overlays

    • Performing content-based quality checks

    • Optimizing file performance and structure

    • Reconciling files against narrative lists

    • Logging processes and handling error recovery

    • Splitting workloads based on file attributes

  • Support or develop Acrobat plug-ins (preferably using C/C++ and Adobe PDF Library SDK)

  • Automate workflows using scripting (e.g., JavaScript) and maintain Visual Basic-based legacy tools

  • Facilitate inter application communication (IAC) between Acrobat and other systems

  • Coordinate technical tasks and contribute to project planning and execution
