The Lead IT Systems Analyst will work on the Billing Operations and QAS team within the Billing Platform and will perform the duties of an Agile Analyst. The analyst will be the liaison between developers, project teams, portfolio analysts, and other groups. Partnering with other analysts to maintain the team's process and the AzDO boards. The analyst will collaborate with others to guide work assignments, set priorities, and lead backlog reviews. Assisting with quarterly planning, prioritization sessions, and management of work for the team, pre-ideation, and ideation projects. Utilize practical judgment and innovative thinking to break down requests from multiple sources into manageable tasks in a structured format in AzDO.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Maintain AzDO boards for two teams (QAS and Operations)
• Schedule and facilitate meetings for backlog reviews, prioritization and business scoring.
• Collaborate with other Billing Team analysts & coordinate OPS and QAS work dependencies.
• Requirements gathering

Required skills:

• Highly skilled in Microsoft Azure Dev Ops, with significant experience in setting up and managing Epics, Features, Product Backlog items and leading work prioritization meetings for a team.
• Ideal candidate with have experience facilitating meetings, leading work prioritization meetings and backlog reviews using Microsoft Azure Dev Ops.
• Proficiency in personal productivity software, as well as visual information management tools such as MS Office, SharePoint, Azure DevOps (ADO), and Microsoft Teams Specialty Boards
• Problem solving skills to investigate, assess and recommend solutions for system issues along with knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of creating SQL and Splunk queries as well as understanding industry tools and techniques to elicit, prioritize, organize, document, model, and analyze requirements
• Proven ability to facilitate, influence, and build consensus amongst individuals with various perspectives and business priorities

Preferred skills and experiences:

• Strong familiarity with Mainframe, Agile Development practices, SQL/JCL, DB2 (QMF, ADTOOLS, Spufi)
• Ability to read and understand COBOL highly desired
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while context switching
• Ability to create flowcharts and diagrams to visualize processes and requirements using Mural, Visio, etc.
• Experience eliciting requirements for Mainframe development.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology, or related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Math, Information Systems) and a minimum six years of related work experience designing, developing, programming and/or supporting IT Systems and applications.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a minimum eight years of related work experience designing, developing, programming and/or supporting IT Systems and applications may be accepted.
