The Connecticut Department of Social Services is seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator to manage and support multiple high-priority Salesforce orgs across various agencies. This role is critical to maintaining operational continuity and optimizing the use of Salesforce within a complex environment.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Salesforce configuration, system administration, and integration support. A valid Salesforce Platform Administrator certification is required.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Org Management:

  • Create and manage Salesforce orgs and sandboxes.
  • Configure CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and Jenkins.
  • Manage deployments of custom objects without affecting interdependent applications.
  • Coordinate environment consistency and maintain release schedules.

User & Access Management:

  • Create and manage users, roles, profiles, and permission sets.
  • Enforce access and security policies effectively.

Data Management:

  • Perform data import/export operations.
  • Ensure data quality, deduplication, and compliance with validation rules.

System Configuration:

  • Customize objects, fields, layouts, and record types.
  • Build and manage Flows, validation rules, and automation tools.

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Design and maintain dynamic reports and dashboards for actionable business insights.

Integration Support:

  • Support and maintain integrations using Mulesoft, Adobe, Box, Java-based systems, ForgeRock, and identity management tools.

Change & Release Management:

  • Oversee sandbox environments, conduct system testing, and deploy updates following established protocols.

User Support & Training:

  • Provide ongoing end-user support.
  • Develop training materials and facilitate user onboarding and enablement sessions.

Release Readiness & Documentation:

  • Evaluate new Salesforce releases.
  • Conduct testing and ensure documentation is current and comprehensive
