The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
  • Develop and implement programs/processes to establish and maintain quality standards of products and services
  • Develop programs to focus employees on quality improvement
  • Develop policies, procedures and methods to check product, material, components and/or operational quality and recommend improvements
  • Support engineering, business process improvement, procurement etc.
  • Be able to apply extensive technical expertise
  • Receive assignments in the form of objectives and establishes goals to meet quality objectives
  • Provide guidance to subordinates to achieve goals in accordance with established policies
  • Establish and recommend changes to policies, which affect subordinate organization(s)
  • Develop technical solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity

Qualifications





Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years' experience; additional four (4) years' experience can be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Clearance:
  • No required clearance; ship required.

Required Skills:
  • Excellent technical, analytical, and engineering qualifications with outstanding customer service skills
  • Experience with document control, technical documentation, blueprints & schematics
  • Problem Identification & Resolution
  • Perform dimensional measurements with instruments GD&T and familiarity with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • Background in quality, engineering, aerospace, or military specifications is preferred
