Opportunity to help build out a company’s first-ever enterprise data warehouse. Current reporting is scattered across Excel and POS systems, and they’re investing in a greenfield build of a centralized, performant data layer feeding BI dashboards.

This is a highly visible role where you’ll establish standards, pipelines, and governance from the ground up. The environment is pragmatic and collaborative, focused on practical, reliable pipelines over hype-driven architecture.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop, and maintain SSIS packages for orchestration and ETL workflows

  • Build and optimize data warehouse structures (star schema, SCD2)

  • Partner with stakeholders to define requirements, source data, and rules

  • Optimize SQL queries, ensure performance, and document data lineage

  • Manage code and workflows in GitHub/Jira (Agile environment)

  • Support downstream BI reporting with clean, dimensional data

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years hands-on SSIS development – building and optimizing ETL packages

  • Advanced SQL / T-SQL skills – stored procs, schema design, transformations

  • Strong data modeling experience (star schema, SCD2)

  • Experience working in enterprise environments; ability to work independently

  • Familiarity with GitHub/Jira workflows

  • Bonus: retail / POS data, HubSpot integrations, Python scripting
