Description
We are looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient network infrastructures that support business operations. This role requires expertise in network architecture, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal system performance. Based in Santa Ana, California, this position offers a dynamic environment for professionals passionate about innovative solutions and network security.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement secure network solutions to optimize resource sharing and information flow across the organization.
Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to acquire and integrate network-related hardware, software, and services.
Identify, analyze, and resolve network inefficiencies and performance issues to maintain seamless operations.
Evaluate and test network components to recommend and deploy effective solutions.
Design advanced technologies and strategies to support future business needs.
Provide mentorship and guidance to entry level network administrators and engineers.
Independently analyze complex engineering projects and deliver innovative solutions.
Create strategies for integrating newly acquired companies into standardized network systems while ensuring security and functionality.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
At least 8 years of experience in a Network Engineering role, demonstrating advanced expertise.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
In-depth knowledge of IP protocols and routing methods such as BGP and QoS.
Strong understanding of network security tools including firewalls, intrusion prevention systems, and access controls.
Familiarity with public cloud networking, with preference for Microsoft Azure.
Experience working with disaster recovery frameworks and ensuring business continuity.
Hands-on experience with Cisco routers, Palo Alto firewalls, Meraki systems, and SD-WAN technologies.
