Key Qualifications
Typically requires 2+ years experience in software development.We are looking for someone with a track record of API and framework developmentFamiliarity with peer-to-peer networking architecture, security and protocols used for real-time communicationsStrong understanding of modern software engineering practices (Object-oriented programming, functional programming, test driven-development, etc).Excellent communication skills; ability to collaborate successfully with peers from diverse experiences and backgrounds.

The Vision Pro FaceTime team is focused on building the FaceTime system experience on Apple's new visionOS platform. This team works on deeply integrating FaceTime & SharePlay on visionOS, as well as delivering the Spatial Personas experience that fosters real-time spatial collaboration and communication.As a member of our team you will help us in crafting future experiences that will delight, inspire and empower millions of people. We work mostly in Swift, and Objective C to build the core frameworks supporting FaceTime and SharePlay on visionOS. Successful engineers will be prepared to work from the UI down to the networking, protocols and system integration layers.
Education & Experience
BS / MS in Computer Science OR equivalent experience

- Interest and passion for AR/VR technologies
- Optional: Experience with Unix development, daemons, cross-process communication, etc.

Pay & Benefits
- At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 and $243,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs.
