Job Summary/Purpose
As a member of the Retirement team, you will work with a team of other highly qualified co-workers who provide governance and oversight for pension plans, 401k plans, and Financial Wellness programs. This team is responsible for the planning, design, evaluation, project management, vendor oversight and administration of the retirement plans and programs that deliver an employment value proposition that recruits, retains, and drives performance.      
                                                                                   
Job Duties/Responsibilities
•    Assists with program governance. Review and update department procedures, SPDs, SMMs, etc. as needed. Ensures legal compliance. Supports regular review and drafting of revisions to Plan Documents as necessary. 
•    Works with auditors as necessary to provide the information they need to monitor the accuracy of the plan administration. Oversees execution of SOX testing Works with auditors, reviews 10K, 10Q, Form 5500's, etc. Review and provide data for 5500 Forms, SAS -70, 10K/Q, EBC reports, management representation letter, etc..
•    Sustains HR compliance and proactively mitigates risk through internal monitoring of operations and administration, including corrective action of any inadequate controls or failures identified. Rigorously monitors the regulatory and legislative landscape for impacts on defined contribution and defined benefit programs. 
•    Assists with managing vendor administration relationships and works with vendors, as well as throughout the year to support various programs. Ensures key vendors are meeting contractual obligations. 
•    Develops and revises HR administrative procedures and policies when applicable. Reads, understands, and can interpret Plan Documents terms for defined contribution and defined benefit plans sponsored by  and is able to apply those terms to support accurate administration of the Plans. Works with Legal partners to review plan corrections and participant communications.
•    Delivers premier people cost management by providing support to rate case testimony and requests for information (RFIs) as needed.
•    Supports labor relations in contract negotiations and coordinates required benefit changes as necessary.                   
•    Continuously improve the employee and retiree experience, drive engagement with the plans and programs, and help them understand their benefits.
                                                                 
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
 Minimum education & required experience of the position

•    Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field with 5 years of experience OR in lieu of a degree 6+ years of experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field

 Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position
•    Knowledge of employee benefit plans and programs for large corporate sponsors
•    Excellent analytical skills. Able to analyze data, identify trends and evaluate root cause, create a hypothesis and test that hypothesis, make recommendations and conclusions that are supported with data and logic
•    Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional working teams
•    Ability to create and execute change management plans
•    Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, such as PeopleSoft.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
