About This Role:
The successful candidate for this Network Analyst III-IP NOC position should possess advanced troubleshooting knowledge of IP Networks and equipment to quickly repair/mitigate outage conditions. The position requires strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to drive issues to resolution. Technicians will interface via phone, video, chat, and ticketing systems with Windstream technicians, front-line technical reps, and carrier technicians to resolve issues, mitigate outages, and ensure that all steps are professionally documented. ***This position can be filled remotely anywhere within the country.***

Minimum Requirements:
Associate's Degree in a technical discipline and 4-6 years technical experience with 5+ years directly related to the job and 4+ years of digital experience. College hours or a college degree may be substituted for some experience as deemed appropriate.

What You'll Do:
- Troubleshoot circuit, hardware, and routing protocol issues
- Handle second level escalations
- Training and documentation
- Vendor engagement
Do You Have?
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Cisco, Juniper, and Nokia routing platforms
- Knowledge of broadband equipment, protocols, and networking
- Knowledge of central office transport equipment including test methods
- Technical skills in data networking or closely related field
- Understanding of hardware troubleshooting
- Understanding of ISIS & BGP routing protocols
- Understanding of LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, ATM, frame relay, and layer 2 switching
- Understanding of MPLS, layer 3 VPNs, and SD-WAN
Even Better:
- Certificates/ Licenses: CCNP, JNCIS, NRS II (Nokia Certified Network Routing Specialist)
- 5+ years of experience with IT/LAN/WAN in an operations or help-desk environment OR 5+ years of troubleshooting network elements, protocols, services, and transport layer problems within a NOC environment
