Job Description & Summary

They are skilled in project management, technology, and process optimization to deliver high-quality services to clients.

Those in managed service management and strategy at PwC will focus on transitioning and running services, along with managing delivery teams, programmes, commercials, performance and delivery risk. Your work will involve the process of continuous improvement and optimising of the managed services process, tools and services.

Your role is crucial in driving business growth, shaping the direction of client engagements, and mentoring the next generation of leaders. Demonstrates thought leader-level abilities with, and/or a proven record of success directing efforts including:
  • Deep technical expertise in a multitude of platforms and software applications;
  • Ability to document requirements, create prototypes, test and analyze the infrastructure and architecture of a client's environment;
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their business objectives and provide tailored solutions;
  • Supporting the offering team developing customized proposals, solutions and during client meetings, presentations, and demonstrations;
  • Serves as a trusted advisor, ensuring alignment between the client's business goals and our offerings;
  • Understanding of estimation methodology and cost levers involved in managed services with experience in creating and managing financial models;
  • Demonstrating proven knowledge of latest managed services trends & ability to create/update differentiated offerings;
  • Architecting and/or transitioning significant managed services solution;
  • Familiarity with industry benchmarks and navigating third-party benchmarking sources;
  • Managing client relationships at the executive level;
  • Managing client service and people management skills;
  • Adapting to new technologies and learning quickly;
  • Demonstrating stakeholder management skills with the ability to work well with a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team and customer base.
  • Demonstrate experience in writing software in one or more languages, such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Microservices, Event Driven, or other Cloud Native experience;
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker), services, and cloud PAAS components;
  • Demonstrate experience with different database technologies (e.g. SQL database(s), NoSQL such as MongoDB, Hadoop, Redis, etc.);
  • Demonstrate experience with scalable networking technologies (e.g. Load Balancers, Firewalls) and demonstrate understanding and knowledge of monitoring tools and KPI's;
  • Demonstrate ability to think strategically about business, create technical definition around customer objectives in complex situations, develop solution strategies, motivate & mobilize resources, and deliver results;
  • Demonstrate experience / knowledge on Enterprise Architecture methodology such as "The Open Group Architecture framework" TOGAF is a plus;
  • Demonstrate 5+ years design & implementation experience on complex, large scale distributed applications;
  • Systems design experience, with the ability to architect or explain complex systems interactions;
  • Demonstrate broad architecture skills, covering application, infrastructure, data and integration;
  • Demonstrate sound understanding and experience of contemporary paradigms, such as Cloud, DevOps and Agile.

The salary range for this position is: $142,500 - $317,000, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. For roles that are based in Maryland, this is the listed salary range for this position. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws.
