The candidate we are looking for should have a thorough understanding of the product. This position s primary responsibility will be to help enterprises achieve greater business connect, faster user acceptance, and shorter turnaround times & function as a key contributor in the team at different phases of the project including discovery, solution generation, design/architecture, and the detailing of the overall process. The chosen candidate will be involved in the recommendation, configuration, evaluation, and deployment of high-quality solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. As a Business Analyst for Encompass, you will be a key player in configuring and supporting the Encompass 360 / Smart client platform. Your responsibilities will include configuring and implementing changes and enhancements to meet business needs. You will be responsible for helping discover and define the problem statement, evaluate the solution options, and make recommendations. Collaborate with various technical and cross functional teams to determine the feasibility of the changes. Complete understanding of Encompass, Smart client, US Mortgage process, Agile software development Methodology is essential. Following is the high-level skill sets the candidate is expected to have in him: -

1. Extensive experience as Business Analyst

2. Excellent understanding of US Mortgage Industry

3. Hands on experience in Encompass Smart Client configuration with excellent understanding of Encompass product suite from ICE Mortgage Technology

4. Excellent Stake holder management

5. Scrum master skills will be an add on

6. Ability to coordinate / work with offshore team on daily basis.

7. Lead Agile ceremonies, backlog grooming and product prioritization meetings.

8. Analytical and Communication skills

9. Perform all responsibilities in accordance with Client s Competencies and Information Protection requirements.

10. Lead team with design of technical solutions to meet business requirements covering Mortgage origination process and interface design

11. Consult with and advocate to multiple business units (on client side) outside of project efforts.

12. Lead activities to identify people, process and system impacts of business objectives for all sizes of projects/teams.

13. Act as a mentor to and resource for less experienced Business Analysts.

14. Lead test planning of technical solutions and support testing by facilitating resolution of identified bugs.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 8 years of experience in Information Technology in the US Mortgage space with Encompass product knowledge / experience

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh / Dallas / Los Angles or be willing to relocate to these locations.

Product Management

Encompass Smart Client product experience is mandatory.

Produce Feasibility Studies and Business Cases to support Life Cycle Management and prioritization.

Business Analysis Skills -

Develop and communicate a clear product vision aligned with business goals.

Define and prioritize product features and enhancements based on market trends, user feedback, and business requirements.

Work closely with design and development teams to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.

Collaborate with key stakeholders, including engineering, design, sales, and customer support, to gather input and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

Manage and maintain the product backlog, tracking progress, and ensuring that development tasks are completed in a timely manner.

Requirements Elicitation, Analysis, Configuration, And Documentation

Evaluate and analyze business requirements, elicit information to help identify business needs and objectives, and propose solutions to solve problems.

Manage on-going communication and clarification of functional and non-function requirements in a clear and comprehensible manner to project staff, and other technical stakeholders.

Create and manage Solution Requirements Package supporting Business Requirements:

Use Cases and/or User Stories

Functional and Non-Functional Requirements

Interface Mock-ups and attribute

Process Models and descriptions.

Workflow Storyboards

Requirements Traceability Deliverables

Application configuration changes with appropriate change management documentation

Requirements management and documentation

Evaluate solution proposals for technical merit and feasibility to satisfy business needs within tolerable cost and risk parameters.

Excellent communicator (oral and written) with technical understanding (ability to interpret information) and the proposed solution.

Excellent organization and time management skills.

Understanding of business analysis activities, tasks, tools, and deliverables.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
