The client is going though a IT Modernization project and seeks a PM with application/ database migration experience from on prem to Azure cloud. The candidates should have the application/ database migration experience in their current/ recent project that they can articulate w. the Team.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cloud Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management with a focus on cloud-based solutions. As a Cloud Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and delivering various projects related to cloud infrastructure, ensuring successful implementation, optimization, and scalability. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a keen understanding of project management methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Execution:
Develop comprehensive project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
Execute projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive successful project outcomes.
Cloud Infrastructure Management:
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Collaborate with IT teams to design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures.
Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Stakeholder Communication:
Act as a liaison between technical teams, project stakeholders, and leadership to communicate project status, risks, and issues.
Facilitate regular project meetings and provide timely updates to keep all stakeholders informed.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor and manage project risks, making adjustments to ensure successful project delivery.
Resource Management:
Allocate and manage project resources effectively, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within scope.
Work with team members to resolve conflicts and foster a collaborative project environment.
Quality Assurance:
Establish and enforce quality standards for project deliverables.
Conduct regular reviews and assessments to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in cloud-related projects.
Strong understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their applications.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications are a plus.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
