Job Details

Title: RF Test Engineer


Length of Contract: 6 Months
Location: Chandler, AZ (on-site required)

Scope: They need an RF Test Engineer, that has experience testing in the KU band (11GHZ-13GHZ).

They are working with a transmit module that sit's about 1GHZ to 2GHz, they are building an input/output IF/IR RF Frequency test box to get the signal to shoot it up to the Satellite and back down.

That's where the KU band comes into play; therefore, focus in on all RF Test guys with Microwave test equipment experience.

Could be from ViaSat, Grumman, Harris, Benchmark few companies that do the same type of things.
Hiring Manager doesn't really matter on the languages as long as it's one of those below.

 

Skills: Programming experience, knowledgeable in RF theory and ability to develop/maintain RF switch fixtures.
Programming languages used in Chandler: C/C++, Java, Python, Visual Basic, LabWindows/CVI (C), LabView, VEE
Experience using test equipment (signal generators, Vector Network Analyzers, power meters, Spectrum analyzer, etc..
Understand how to read schematics and the ability to generate test procedures / documentation.
