Job Description:

·        This position requires recent experience leading an enterprise software implementation for local government land permitting, plan review, inspection, and code enforcement.

·        Ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience with one or more commercial Community Development and Regulation software packages.

Knowledge and Skills

·        Mastery of project management methodology and experience or familiarity with major, defined program management approaches (PMI, Agile,Six Sigma).

·        Significant knowledge of project planning/scheduling tools (for example, Microsoft Project), with a solid track record of practical application.

·        Strong knowledge and understanding of local government processes related to land permitting, plan review, inspection, and code enforcement.

·        Ability to large multi-department project team to match CDR software to business requirements, including leadership in research on current and emerging technology options.

Experience

·        Seven or more years of progressively responsible IT experience.

·        Five or more years of experience with Planning and Community Development business problem solving.

·        Experience in leading diverse teams.

·        Experience and ability in using “soft skills” and “people skills”.

·        Experience with implementation of software systems and platforms.

·        Experience meeting with stakeholders and clients and gathering the project's requirements, goals, and scope.
