Job Description
The purpose of this position is to provide essential administrative processes to project management and discipline managers in order to assure the project meets or exceeds all technical requirements. This role performs minimally complex assignments, evaluates, selects, and applies standard administrative techniques to projects and/or departments.
Deliver quality work, and adhere to the Operating System Requirements (OSR)
Encourage and stimulate the development of employees through training and mentorship programs
Administer and maintain highly confidential and specialized information and understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and operations
Assist in the development of project and department standards, procedures, practices, and guidelines
Identify and evaluate personnel availability for internal and external assignments
Develop and administer documentation for personnel transactions
Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and six (6) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Preferred Qualifications
Expert in use of Fluor specialized software
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written
Demonstrates ability to prioritize and delegate workload
Other Job Requirements
Serve as a department representative to internal clients
Support global project and/or department initiatives
Engage in Fluor's global community, promoting a OneFluor mindset
Implement global strategy at the local level
Contribute to and promote the use of Fluor's knowledge management portals and communities
