Job Details
Position: SAP Group Reporting Consultant
Location: 100% Remote (EST time zone)
Duration: 12 Months + Contract
- Proficient in the SAP consolidation and group reporting concept
- Hands on experience in the end-to-end configuration of group reporting
- Configuring the company codes, ledger, FS items and rates for consolidation
- Experience in configuring the currency translation and data preparation stages
- Handling the consolidation of investments and ownership.
- Experience in creating models in consolidation monitor and manage all master data changes. Also proficient in the handling the balance carry forward process.
- Experience in the performance optimization of the group reporting process.
Must Haves:
- 10+ years of overall SAP experience with at least 3 years in SAP Group Reporting.
- Proven experience with SAP Group Reporting configurations, financial consolidations, and reporting processes.
- Strong understanding of finance processes and statutory reporting.
- Experience in leading or contributing to SAP implementations and upgrades.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA and integration with other SAP modules (FI/CO).
- Familiarity with data migration and transformation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Configuration
- Set up Consolidation Units, FS Items, Versions, and Ownership Structures.
- Configure currency translation methods, eliminations (intercompany, investments).
- Set up Data Monitor and Consolidation Monitor for process control.
- Create Validation and Reclassification rules using standard tools.
- Data Integration
- Map data from ACDOCA (Universal Journal) to ACDOCU (Consolidation Table).
- Design Data Mapping rules for non-SAP or legacy data.
- Coordinate with ABAP for custom interfaces or data transformations, if needed.
- Manage opening balances and data carry-forwards.
- Reporting & Analytics
- Configure standard Fiori apps (Consolidated Financial Statements, Data Monitor).
- Support creation of custom reports using CDS Views or Embedded Analytics.
- Integrate with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for dashboards, if required.
- Testing & Training
- Support system testing (SIT, UAT) for consolidation and reporting.
- Create test cases and user training guides.
- Assist in Go-Live and hypercare support.
- Collaboration
- Work with ABAP developers for custom logic, BADI implementations, reports.
- Collaborate with BW/HANA teams for advanced reporting scenarios.
- Ensure audit trails and data reconciliation processes are in place.
