Job Title: Program Manager/Project Manager
Location: Greenwood Village, CO (Denver Tech Center)
Contract Position
Role Overview
We re seeking an experienced Mid/Senior Project Manager to own the end-to-end delivery of complex, enterprise-wide IT programs. You ll partner with Product, Delivery, and Technical teams to translate strategic initiatives into actionable roadmaps, ensuring that cross-functional projects achieve their goals on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities

  • Project/work:
    • This team is responsible for part of the Product Buy-flow Process on the customer self-service platform
  • Program & Project Leadership
    • Manage one or more highly complex or enterprise-wide programs made up of multiple interdependent projects.
    • Define program roadmaps, success metrics, and governance controls.
    • Plan, schedule, and monitor program progress from inception through delivery.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination
    • Serve as the central point of contact for Product, Delivery, and Technical teams.
    • Facilitate communication among stakeholders, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Identify interdependencies and manage resource allocation across projects.
  • Risk & Budget Management
    • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate areas of risk.
    • Own program budgets forecast, track, and optimize costs to meet financial targets.
    • Continuously seek opportunities to improve performance, schedule adherence, and cost efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Report program status, development issues, and achievements to senior leadership.
    • Drive stakeholder satisfaction through transparent communication and timely escalation.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and internal processes that impact program success.
    • Champion Agile methodologies; coach teams to avoid waterfall wherever practical.
Required Qualifications
  • Experience:
    • 6+ years of project and program management in IT environments.
    • Proven track record of managing full-lifecycle delivery, from discovery and planning through deployment and optimization.
  • Methodology:
    • Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban); strong preference for candidates who avoid waterfall.
  • Technical Understanding:
    • Solid grasp of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and how software is built (hands-on coding not required).
  • Cross-Functional Expertise:
    • Demonstrated ability to partner with Product, Delivery, and Technical teams.
Preferred ( Nice to Have )
  • Prior experience in DevOps practices or solution architecture.
  • Exposure to customer-facing or commercial-grade software projects.
  • Telecom/Media & Entertainment/or similar industry experience
  • Background in the telecommunications industry.
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
  • Analytical Planning: Skilled at breaking down complex initiatives into individual tasks, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Leadership & Influence: Able to motivate distributed teams, cultivate trust, and drive accountability.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities in fast-paced environments.
