Job Details



A healthcare organization in Tennessee is currently seeking a new Network Engineer II (LAN) for a promising opportunity with their growing team. In this role, the Network Engineer II (LAN) will be responsible for serving as a top-level technical expert in the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of all network systems.

Responsibilities:

The Network Engineer II (LAN) will:



  • Manage security, integrity, and reliability

  • Oversee the implementation of network systems for upgrades, modifications, planning, testing, and coordination

  • Ensure change management and security procedures are carried out effectively and by the guidelines

  • Minimize service interruption through early intervention

  • Analyze monitoring and maintenance data, implement changes as required to ensure optimal performance, and recommend resources required to maintain or improve service levels

  • Develop, maintain, and oversee schedule for system backups, test restorations

  • Oversee all support and problem management and provides tier three support

  • Perform other duties, as needed


Qualifications:



  • 7 years of Technical experience with Server & Network Hardware / Software Operational Support

  • LAN Focused experience

  • Load Balancing Concept experience

  • Experience with Cisco Routing/Switching concepts (OSPF, EIGRP, etc)

  • Experience with Vulnerability patching (Prioritization, scheduling upgrades, vendor management for patches)

  • CISCO ACI background

  • ISE & SD-access experience

  • SD-WAN Support experience with Policy Creation, optimization, etc.

  • Proficiency with Agile/Scrum (will work in sprints)

  • Experience with Agent Based Network Segmentation (Illumio, Guardicore, Application Dependency Mapping)

  • Ability to direct enterprise scale networking projects
