Designs, develops, evaluates, and conducts cost-effective, agile methods of testing new or adjusted software components and systems with an end-to-end, outside-in view representing the customers' perspective. Tests functional and non-functional requirements both manual and/or automated.

The pay range for this position in MA is $110,000 to $177,000
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Job Description
Clinical Test Engineer - Systems Integration (Cambridge, MA)
Designs, develops, evaluates, and conducts cost-effective, agile methods of testing new or adjusted software components and systems with an end-to-end, outside-in view representing the customers' perspective. Tests functional and non-functional requirements both manual and/or automated.
Your role:
- Responsible for clinical testing by leveraging experience as a clinical sonographer.
- Perform software testing (automated and/or manual) within the systems team throughout the entirety of the product development cycle, ensuring built-in product quality.
- Write and execute test scripts, protocols, plans and reports. Provide test expertise to define and drive software test strategies and initiatives at feature and system level.
- Review (functional and non-functional) requirements/stories/features for accuracy and testability.
- Consult with cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, Systems, Development Engineer, etc.) on test planning (i.e. system level testing, new feature implementation, issue fix testing).
- You will author and execute functional, performance, image quality, clinical workflow, and other types of system testing.
You're the right fit:
- You have 4+ years of experience as a Registered or Certified Sonographer. Preference would be to have an AS or BS/BA degree as well.
- You've designed, developed, evaluated, and conducted cost-effective, agile methods of testing new or adjusted software components and systems with an end-to-end, outside-in view representing the customers' perspective.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interface in a cross-disciplinary manner, including engineers, product managers, and clinical specialists/
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- Familiarity with medical devices development and/or working for a medical device company is a plus.
