Job Description
Shift timing: 10AM – 5PM
Number of days the engineer is required: 5 days or less, starting on Oct 2.
Scope of Work:
The IT Engineer will be required to perform the following tasks:
- Assist in installation and configuration of Windows 11 on 45 laptops
- Help ensure laptops are up to date with the latest drivers, security patches, and software updates
- Install prerequisite software
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11 operating system, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Experience with desktop imaging and deployment tools, such as Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) preferred
Timeline:
The IT Engineer will be required to work on-site in Toronto for 5 consecutive days, with the following approximate schedule:
- Day 1: Introduction to the environment, review of existing infrastructure, and planning
- Day 2-3: Desktop imaging and deployment, software updates, and patch management
- Day 4: Hardware troubleshooting and repair, user account management, and Group Policy management
- Day 5: Security and compliance checks, final testing, and documentation
Assumptions and Dependencies:
- The IT Engineer will have access to all necessary tools, equipment, and documentation required to perform the tasks outlined in this SOW.
- The client will provide a dedicated workspace and necessary resources
