Job Details

Urgent Requirement: Systems Architect
Duration: 12 months
Location: Madison, WI
Onsite or Remote: Candidate MUST be a WI resident or willing to relocate to WI prior to starting the role at their own expense. This position will work 100% remote from within the state of Wisconsin. The selected hire is expected to attend an annual CHEMS conference held in WI each fall. Registration fees for this conference would be paid by WisDOT and lodging for this conference is also reimbursable

Required Skills: At least 5 years experience in the following:
Delphi programming experience using RAD Studio 2007+ and/or 2011
SQL/PL SQL experience
SQL Developer

Nice to Have Skills:
Experience with Financials applications/suppose
Third-party data access software packages such as ASTA or RemObjects Data Abstract
Oracle development experience building triggers and/or packages
Implementation of security software package (e.g. OKTA or other) that integrated with Delphi application.

Core Responsibilities
Design and develop WisDOT internal business systems (CHEMS/CHEMSPRO).
Transition counties from legacy software to CHEMS.
Integrate business systems across finance, accounting, supply chain, etc.
Develop custom modules and integrate with packaged solutions.
Upgrade CHEMS from Delphi 2007 to 2011.
Enhance Oracle 19c database and develop import/export integration programs.
Participate in statewide virtual meetings for CHEMS support.
