Description
TEKsystems is looking for a seasoned Infrastructure project Manager for our customer who is undergoing efforts for an End Of Life Team program which is an integral part of the technology refresh organization. They are responsible for identifying risk related to end of life technology and then insuring mitigation of those risks through updates and/or new platforms by working with groups across the enterprise.
Must have prior project/program management experience managing infrastructure projects upgrading one or more major infrastructure technologies (e.g. Operating System, Middleware, Database, server upgrade, cloud migration).
Tasks & Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for structuring a program made up of multiple projects:
Works with the application project management team to perform the detailed planning, and managing project execution and completion of moderate or large projects
Manage the application migrations thru daily interactions with meetings and 1:1
Provide senior management readable comprehensive program status bi-weekly summarizing the individual projects
Work with infrastructure, vended lifecycle, and application owners to remove blockers
Clearly document issues, risks, and decisions in comprehensive RAID logs
Defines the phase deliverables, tracks milestones and incurred expenses versus planned expenses, schedules role sand resources, evaluates risks and recommends contingency plans Manages the development of the technical strategy

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
