Role: Core Banking Business Analyst
Location: Hillsboro, OR – Onsite
Duration: Long-term Contract
Job Description
We are looking for a Core Banking Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in banking operations and hands-on experience working with core banking systems. The ideal candidate should be able to gather requirements, analyze business processes, support solution design, and work closely with business/IT teams during implementation, integration, and migration projects.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through workshops, interviews, use cases, and user stories.
- Review and optimize core banking processes such as account opening, loan lifecycle management, and payment flows using BPM methodologies.
- Support solution design, system integration, and end-to-end testing for core system upgrades, replacements, or migrations (including CBaaS platforms).
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors throughout project execution.
- Assist in training, UAT, readiness, and go-live support activities.
- Analyze existing customer data; ability to write and understand basic SQL queries is required.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong domain knowledge in core banking and banking regulatory processes.
- Experience working with core banking platforms; FISERV DNA experience is a strong plus.
- Understanding of key banking processes: Accounts, Loans, Payments, General Ledger, KYC/KYB.
- Prior experience with core banking replacement, upgrades, migrations, or CBaaS implementations.
- Excellent communication, requirement-gathering, and stakeholder management skills.
