We are seeking a senior-level Business Analyst / Project Manager with deep experience in the Life & Annuity (L&A) insurance space to lead a new digital initiative. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge business needs with technical execution, especially in building agent-facing digital platforms.

Project Overview:
This is a net-new project focused on building a Life & Annuity agent portal a secure, digital platform where life agents can log in to access rating tools, policy documents, dashboards, and more. We currently lack internal resources with experience in this area, so this person must bring both domain expertise and project leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and execution of a Life & Annuity agent portal build
  • Gather and document business and technical requirements from stakeholders
  • Create and drive project plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business leads, developers, and external vendors
  • Present project updates and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Ensure the digital product meets user needs and industry standards

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 5+ years of experience in the Life & Annuity insurance industry
  • Strong understanding of agency management platforms such as Smart Office, iPipeline (especially Agency Integrator), etc.
  • Proven experience leading or contributing to digital product builds
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills able to engage with business presidents and technical teams alike
  • Proactive, resourceful, and confident in gathering information and negotiating with external partners (e.g., carriers)
  • Technically literate understands portal architecture, authentication flows, and digital workflows
