The Science Team at Russell Tobin & Associates is supporting a world-class organization that has an opening for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Technician near Wilson, NC
Primary Responsibilities:
- Follow Master Batch Records for the manufacturing of oral solid dosage forms (OSD), including controlled substances.
- Handle raw materials and blends; ensure proper accountability and documentation throughout the process.
- Perform weight checks and ensure proper scale calibration and operation.
- Set up, operate, and clean various manufacturing equipment including granulators, blenders, bead coaters, and more.
- Conduct in-process testing (e.g., tablet weight, thickness, hardness, friability, and visual inspection) per batch requirements.
- Clean and sanitize manufacturing rooms per SOPs (walls, floors, ceilings).
- Accurately complete documentation in compliance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
- Participate in team meetings and maintain regular, punctual attendance including overtime when required.
- Identify, report, and help resolve quality and GMP-impacting issues.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Up to 3 years of pharmaceutical industry experience preferred; experience in similar manufacturing industries with demonstrated mechanical skill also considered.
Preferred Experience:
- Hands-on experience in granulation, blending, and bead coating operations within a pharmaceutical oral solid dose (OSD) environment (in that order of priority).
- Knowledge of GMP and regulatory compliance in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

- Contract Duration: 12 months contract
- Location: Wilson, NC
- Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday Thursday | 4:00 PM 2:30 AM (Onsite)
- Pay Rate: $21.00 $23.00/hr. on W2
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
