SAP S/4HANA Techno-Functional Consultant (Vertex O Series, Accelerator, SIC)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Techno-Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Vertex O Series, Vertex Accelerator, and SAP SIC (Integration Component). The consultant will design, configure, and support S/4HANA Vertex tax integration for global indirect tax compliance. This role combines strong functional tax process knowledge with hands-on technical integration skills across FI/CO, SD, and MM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure S/4HANA tax procedures and integrate with Vertex Accelerator & SIC.
• Enable accurate indirect tax determination (Sales/Use Tax, VAT, GST) across OTC, PTP, and Finance.
• Map tax codes, jurisdictions, exemptions, and product categories.
• Implement and maintain Vertex O Series, Accelerator, and SIC on S/4HANA.
• Troubleshoot integration issues (RFCs, BAPIs, APIs, CPI/PO middleware).
• Perform ABAP debugging and collaborate with developers on enhancements.
• Manage Vertex/Accelerator upgrades, SIC releases, and content updates.
• Act as liaison between Tax, Finance, and IT; provide user training and production support.
• Support tax compliance, scalability, and high availability of Vertex S/4HANA integration.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years SAP, with 6+ years S/4HANA Vertex integration.
• Deep knowledge of Vertex settings, Accelerator, and SIC.
• Strong tax configuration expertise in FI/CO, SD, MM.
• Knowledge of SD/MM Pricing and Account Determination.
• ABAP debugging, CPI/PO integration, troubleshooting.
• Indirect tax compliance knowledge (Sales/Use Tax, VAT, GST).
• Excellent communication & collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• End-to-end Vertex Accelerator + SIC implementation experience.
• Global rollout exposure (U.S., EU, APAC).
• SAP FI/CO or SD certification; Vertex O Series certification preferred.
