Job Description:
  • The role requires strong writing, listening, and analytical skills, along with the ability to interpret and apply rules, regulations, and technical contract language.
  • This position involves managing the procurement of software, equipment, and other commodities, ensuring compliance with state policies and regulations, and supporting the procurement team through training and documentation.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Thorough understanding of large and small-scale purchasing methods and procedures.
  • Thorough knowledge of RFPs, RFQs, IFBs, and Amendments.
  • Ability to train individuals on procurement policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Ability to write complex technical information into specifications based on state or project requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all personality types.
  • Strong commitment to meeting deadlines and maintaining complex and confidential records.

Experience:

  • 7 years of experience in public procurement or a similar role.
