Leidos' Defense Systems Land Systems Business Area is seeking a talented CUAS Engineering Technologist to join our growing Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (CUAS) team in Lawton, Oklahoma. This role will lead multiple software engineering teams that are working to build a CUAS command and control (C2) system.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis-Understanding the collection, processing, and evaluation of data to generate actionable insights

  • Data Collection Methods Gathering and organizing relevant information to inform decision-making processes

  • Document Management Organizing, storing, and retrieving documents and records to support business operations and compliance requirements.

  • Engineering Support Providing assistance and expertise to technical teams and personnel in the development, implementation, and maintenance of projects or systems.

  • Quality Control (QC) Monitoring and inspecting products, processes, or services to ensure compliance with quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.

  • Report Writing Creating clear, concise, and informative reports to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and decision-makers.

  • Testing Operations Conducting assessments and evaluations of products, systems, or processes to verify performance, reliability, and compliance with specifications.

  • Troubleshooting Identifying and resolving technical issues that arise within a complex system or network infrastructure.

Basic Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience related to software development and military C2 systems

  • Ability to travel up to 10% including the potential for OCONUS travel.

  • Ability to review requirements, comprehend need, and solution capabilities that satisfy customer requirements.

  • Ability to work in a highly collaborative, forward thinking, and innovation-driven environment.

  • Experience with simulations and radar or other sensor systems
  • Must possess or be able to obtain an maintain a DoD Secret clearance


    Preferred Qualifications

    Technical Writing Experience

    Hands on experience with integrated air and missile defense or counter-air C2 systems

    Previous people leadership and mentoring experience
