RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Vulnerability Management Analyst in Bedford, MA.
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Systems Vulnerability Management Analyst to join the IT Infrastructure team supporting Windows, Linux, and VMware environments. This role will focus on remediating vulnerabilities, modernizing legacy systems, and driving progress against a significant backlog of technical debt. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Windows and Linux administration, Active Directory, and scripting with PowerShell, with the ability to work in a fast-moving, enterprise environment.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise systems administration (Windows/Linux)
* PowerShell scripting experience (preferred tool for automation)
* Experience working with legacy systems, policy work, and technical debt remediation
* Strong knowledge of Windows OS (2008 and later) and Linux (Ubuntu/Lubuntu) environments
* Expertise in Active Directory and Group Policy management
* Familiarity with cybersecurity-driven vulnerability management
* Proficiency with VMware administration
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills
* Ability to prioritize and execute multiple infrastructure projects simultaneously
* Industry-specific experience not required; General enterprise Linux/Windows administration background is sufficient
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
