Job Details
We are looking for an experienced ERP Solutions Architect to support a large-scale ERP Roadmap project for a higher education client. This critical role will help guide the evaluation and future direction of the institution s ERP landscape, which includes HR, Financials, and Campus Solutions. The Solutions Architect will play a key role in organizing and assessing ERP solution demonstrations, evaluating integrations with recently adopted non-PeopleSoft systems (Slate, CAS, Flywire, Campus Logic, Follet), and designing a cohesive future-state architecture.

- ERP Solution Design & Evaluation:
- Lead the planning and facilitation of ERP solution demonstrations, including system overviews and in-depth reviews of specific modules (Student, Grants, P2P, Reporting).
- Assess functionality, technical fit, and potential gaps in proposed ERP solutions.
- Evaluate impacts and integration requirements for non-PeopleSoft systems already in use.
- Roadmap Development:
- Contribute technical and functional expertise to the creation of a strategic ERP roadmap.
- Define overarching architecture principles, system design standards, and integration strategies.
- Develop recommendations for future-state ERP architecture to support the client s operational and strategic goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Peer Learning:
- Support peer institution discussions to gather insights on ERP implementations, planning, and lessons learned.
- Advise stakeholders on best practices for ERP planning, organizational change management, and system governance.
- Technical Leadership:
- Provide expertise on system integration, data migration, and enterprise architecture.
- Ensure alignment between functional requirements, technical capabilities, and overall IT strategy.
- Develop high-level solution designs, diagrams, and documentation to support decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (Master s preferred).
- 7+ years of experience as an ERP Solutions Architect, Technical Lead, or Senior ERP Consultant.
- Extensive experience with ERP systems in higher education; PeopleSoft knowledge strongly preferred.
- Proven experience designing and integrating complex enterprise systems, including third-party applications.
- Familiarity with functional domains such as Student Information Systems, Grants, P2P, and Reporting.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, data integration, and technical governance.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with functional teams, IT, and leadership.
- Ability to travel on-site as needed (up to 25%).
