Business Data Analyst-W2 Position-NJ/NY

Role: Banking/Financial - Business Data Analyst

Exp: 12+ years

Location: Jersey City, NJ (5 days onsite)

Note:

• Need Local to NJ/NY

• Retail Banking is must, primarily Payments or Wealth Management
• Strong experience in banking, financial and management consulting
• Banking, Financial industry knowledge and expertise
• Proficiency in programming languages like Pythion, SQL for data manipulation and analysis, good knowledge of excel
• Effectively profile data from existing sources to understand its structure and content to capture data requirements and data modeling
• Ability to write complex SQL queries
• Understanding of business context and ability to align data analysis with business objectives
• Work closely with Data modelers to translate domain knowledge into effective data models that accurately represent the structure and relations within the data
• Data analysis experience in
• Deposits CD, Savings, Checking
• Credit Cards rewards cards, hotel, travel, business, and cobranded cards
• Debit Debit platform
• Payment processing Merchant, Ecommerce, ACH, business banking
• Wealth Management
• Investment
• Work on some of the most complex and highly visible data problems in finance at the intersection of finance and technology
• Ability to partner, prioritize, lead, negotiate, drive execution and influence
• Laison between SMEs, Data Architects, Data Modelers to understand individual data domains and ensure acceptance from all parties
• Engage and partner with Product owners, business users (technical and on-technical), data providers, technology teams, across large financial function to design and deliver data products
• Experienced in end-to-end SDLC
