Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Functional

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials Specialist to support, optimize, and enhance our Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials applications. This role involves close collaboration with finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable financial management solutions that align with business goals. The position requires approximately 20% travel to client sites.
< class="mb-2 mt-4 font-display font-semimedium text-base first:mt-0">Key Responsibilities</>< class="mb-2 mt-4 font-display font-semimedium text-base first:mt-0">Implementation & Configuration</>Lead and provide hands-on support for Oracle Fusion Financials modules including GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, and Expenses.
Configure workflows, business rules, and application setups to align with client requirements.
Manage data migration and ensure seamless interface integration with other enterprise systems.
Business Analysis & Solution Design
Partner with finance and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust system solutions.
Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend process improvements based on best practices.
Design scalable financial solutions in line with regulatory and organizational standards.
Provide ongoing production support, perform root cause analysis, and implement fixes.
Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities across GL, AP, AR, and FA.
Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation for stakeholders.
Testing & Validation
Prepare test scripts and perform system and functional regression testing.
Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) cycles with business teams.
Ensure all solutions comply with internal controls, audit standards, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor Oracle updates and new releases; manage system patching and upgrades.
Identify opportunities for automation, reporting improvements, and process efficiencies.
Recommend and implement enhancements to maximize system value.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related field.
10+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials.
Functional expertise in at least two or more modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Expenses).
Strong understanding of accounting principles and core financial processes.
Proven experience in requirements gathering, business process design, and solution architecture.
Proficiency with SQL, OTBI/BIP reporting, and data migration concepts.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
Oracle Cloud certification(s).
Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
Experience with global rollouts and multi-entity/multi-currency financial structures.
Exposure to additional Oracle modules such as Costing and Receipt Accounting.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
Ability to work independently as well as in cross-functional teams.
Highly adaptable to dynamic environments and evolving business needs.
Eagerness to learn and keep pace with new technologies.
