Network Communications Engineer
Apex Systems is immediately hiring for a Network Communications Engineer with a large government client supporting the Navy & Marine Corps at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, DC!
Position requires a currently active, DoD-issued Secret Security Clearance.

Overview:
- Evaluate communication hardware and software, as well as troubleshoot Local Area Networks/Base Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/BAN/WAN), and other network related problems.
- Administer LAN/BAN/WANs.
- Schedule conversions and cutovers.
- Coordinate with all responsible users and sites.
- Specialized experience in the performance and configuration of networks as well as the integration and testing of complex large-scale computer integrated networks.
Requirements:
- Active, DoD-issued Secret security clearance
- CompTIA Security+ CE Certification
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) OR ability to obtain within the first 6 months of employment
- 8 years of relevant experience (education can be used in lieu of experience - Masters and 2 years, Bachelors and 4 years, Associates and 6 years)
