We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

The Service Partner Marketing Team is seeking a seasoned Senior Events Marketing Manager to manage our Service Partner events globally. The role will drive the strategy, planning and execution of all events targeted to and including our Service Partner audience to engage our partners, build awareness of Mailchimp and our partner program Mailchimp & Co, and generate demand for our products. We're looking for a forward-thinking self-starter who has experience as a people manager, and who has a proven track record of building programs from nothing, and experience succeeding as a "player/coach" - able to simultaneously be in the details with the teams driving execution, while able to partner and lead across department lines to make impact at scale. They will lead with a project management mindset and entrepreneurial, collaborative, and results-oriented approach to lead and/or support the creation of high-touch experiences that engage our partners and elevate our brand. This is someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, has successfully managed large-scale projects, and understands how to implement strategies that drive measurable results and align with business goals.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of demonstrated events experience. Experience in partner marketing and/or SaaS/Technology companies preferred.
  • Deep experience designing, developing, and delivering B2B industry and field marketing events for prospects and customers. Digital marketing is a plus.
  • Proven record of working collaboratively with sales organizations, business owners and across multiple internal teams, with the ability and demeanor to handle change while managing multiple events and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing large budgets, managing agencies and experience with measurement strategies to demonstrate ROI of events, and use data upfront to create and defend event strategies
  • Excellent verbal, written, visual/presentation and interpersonal communication skills; storyteller
  • Detail-oriented, sweating the details to deliver awesome
  • Ability to project manage with remote contributors and stakeholders efficiently and effectively.
  • Strong results orientation and decision making skills; prior experience in a "growth" oriented role preferred
  • Ability to travel to all industry and strategic events, both domestic and international
  • BA/BS required or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

  • Act as cross-functional lead for the team focused on the planning and coordination of all partner activations including proprietary events, partner workshops, ancillary partner activations and industry events
  • Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and collaborate closely to build consensus, align goals, develop cohesive strategy, and execute on deliverables deadlines.
  • Maintain budget tracker and event planning documents per event to capture all planning elements, activities, and spend.
  • Partner seamlessly across stakeholders to drive pre- and post-event initiatives, including promotion, outreach, logistics/setup, creation of event-specific collateral, lead tracking, and ROI measurement
  • Partner with Strategic Partner Marketers to plan and execute our global MDF and co-marketing programs
  • Responsible for the measurement and reporting of partner-related events to meet and exceed our goals
  • Manage ongoing vendor and event partner relationships, including sourcing, negotiation, contract management, and invoice/payment.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop process and infrastructure, including systems, analytics and campaigns.
  • Actively analyze data from a variety of sources to generate insights and make informed decisions that drive business results, including researching relevant industry events and measuring ROI from past events
