Job Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator with strong expertise in Routing and Switching, dynamic routing protocols, and enterprise network management.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring network reliability, managing incidents and changes, and optimizing network performance within SLA standards.
Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain routing and switching infrastructure.
  • Work with dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.
  • Handle Incident, Problem, and Change tickets as well as Service Requests.
  • Perform root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex network issues.
  • Define and ensure adherence to operational processes.
  • Oversee installation, configuration, and migration activities.
  • Ensure maximum network uptime as per SLA requirements.
  • Manage and maintain a test environment for network solutions.
  • Work within a multi-geo support environment.
  • Improve customer and employee satisfaction through effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Identify skill gaps within the team and plan for training and knowledge enhancement.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of Routing and Switching.
  • Experience with dynamic routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF).
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS and/or Aviatrix).
  • Proficiency with Cisco and Meraki products.
  • Expertise with Cisco Nexus (9K/7K/5K/2K series) and Wireless LAN technologies.
  • Experience with IPAM/DNS/DHCP management.
  • Ability to interpret and resolve complex route table problems.
  • Understanding of System Fault Tolerance, Network Design, Business Continuity, and Disaster Recovery.
  • Experience participating in Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
Qualification And Education:
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Network Administration in a large enterprise environment.
  • Cisco and other industry-standard networking certifications required.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Cloud experience with AWS or Azure is an added advantage.
