Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Miami, FL
Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to support the implementation of a large-scale, complex software application as part of the Traffic and Parking Modernization initiative. The selected candidate will be part of a cross-functional team, collaborating with County departments and a vendor solution provider throughout the full project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and design documents.
  • Analyze existing business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend process improvements.
  • Support system design and implementation, including functional and integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
  • Provide actionable business insights using data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel).
  • Assist with change management, training, and end-user support during transitions.
  • Coordinate with vendors on demonstrations, integration, and solution delivery.
  • Facilitate clear communication among stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers.
  • Track project activities using Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and escalate critical issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software implementation and business process analysis.
  • Proven experience with IT projects in large organizations using Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Strong skills in requirement gathering, process documentation, and solution design.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools such as Power BI and Excel.
  • Knowledge of data models, SQL, ETL, and the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in vendor coordination, testing, and project tracking.
