Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead revenue growth in the West Coast USA region, primarily targeting Automotive OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive product development lifecycles, established relationships in the industry, and a passion for bringing high-value engineering solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue Generation: Own and drive revenue targets for automotive engineering services within assigned accounts and territory.
Client Acquisition & Growth: Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at client organizations.
Market Mapping: Analyze market trends, identify customer needs, and translate them into actionable business opportunities.
Proposal & Contracting: Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations in collaboration with delivery and legal teams.
Collaboration: Work closely with solution architects, technical pre-sales, and delivery teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs.
Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain accurate sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and report progress using CRM and sales dashboards.
Requirements:
Experience: 10+ years in business development or sales in the automotive engineering services industry. Proven track record of achieving revenue target consistently.
Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of automotive integrated systems and domains (e.g., Mechanical embedded and digital solutions ).
Network: Good relationship and network with automotive OEM /Tier 1 companies in North America
Education: Bachelor s degree in Engineering or Business; MBA preferred.
