This is Asim from BOTG. We are looking for an Active Directory & Windows-based Services Engineer in Austin, TX (hybrid) for a 6+ months contract position.

Position: Active Directory & Windows-based Services Engineer

Position type: 6+ months contract position

Work Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid- 2-3 days onsite in a week)

Description:

We are looking for an Active Directory and Windows-based services engineer. The ideal candidate will quickly develop a solid understanding of the client IT infrastructure and the needs of its user base.

Daily Responsibilities:

• On a day-to-day basis, follow the ITIL processes, including Incident, Change, Problem, Request, and Knowledge.
• Contribute to and take ownership of ongoing improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience: (Minimum 6 to 10+ years' experience)

• Strong experience in Active Directory and managing AD Forests, Domains, Trusts, OUs, FSMO roles, and GPOs.
• Proven experience managing on-premises Exchange, and hybrid configurations.
• Solid understanding of Windows-related technologies such as SCCM, Print Services, DFS, and SSO.
• Experience in vulnerability management and providing support during emergencies.
• Excellent customer service attitude, written and verbal communication skills, and ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Skilled in PowerShell scripting for automating administrative tasks. Relevant technical accreditation or successful completion of vendor-certified training in at least one of our key technologies (Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Hybrid).
