About the Role
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and self-driven individual to join our team as a Mid-Level IT Asset Management (ITAM) Support Specialist. In this role, you will assist our Vendor Management and Procurement team in managing vendor relationships, tracking hardware and software assets, supporting procurement processes, and collaborating with the Helpdesk to fulfill end-user requests. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT procurement and vendor operations within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $33.65/hr.

Top Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have:
- 4-5 years of ITAM experience (hardware and software)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Procurement experience and vendor interaction (preferred)
- ServiceNow experience (preferred)
Nice-to-Have:
- Familiarity with ServiceNow modules (HAM/SAM)
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain vendor records, contracts, and contact information
- Support the procurement lifecycle for hardware and software (quotes, POs, invoice tracking)
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance with SLAs
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of IT assets
- Maintain accurate inventory records for hardware and software
- Prepare reports and documentation for audits and internal reviews
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes for vendors and IT assets
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with procurement or asset management tools is a plus
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with IT hardware and software terminology
- Experience with ERP or procurement systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow)
- Basic understanding of vendor management principles
