Job Title: Technical Support Specialist, Senior
Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:
Responsible for maintaining and monitoring end-user workstations on an enterprise network running Windows 10/11 and Office 365. Duties include software installation, hardware maintenance, user support, and system management to meet agency requirements.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide all tiers of microcomputer user support, including problem diagnosis and resolution.
  • Install, test, evaluate, and document hardware/software issues and solutions.
  • Collaborate with department managers to define hardware/software solutions.
  • Manage mid-level projects, including planning, scoping, and task assignments.
  • Monitor adherence to agency IT standards and policies.
  • Support and implement Active Directory, Exchange, Windows 10/11, Office 365, and system management tools (e.g., Tanium, Jira).
  • Utilize PowerShell and scripting tools for automation.
  • Support VMware VDI and application delivery automation.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Proficiency in VMware Airwatch, Tanium, NetMotion, Apple DEP, Google Enterprise, Samsung Knox, MS Active Directory, Jira Service Desk, and Confluence.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Technical writing, including policies and procedures documentation.
