Job Summary:

PROLIM is seeking a skilled Network Design Engineer for our top client, Meta, based in Fremont, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated engineer to join a dynamic environment focused on network design, device provisioning, and implementation of upgrades in a data center setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Adjust network sizes to meet volume or capacity demands

  • Coordinate network operations, maintenance, repairs, and upgrades

  • Determine hardware/software requirements (platforms, bandwidths, etc.)

  • Design, build, or operate configuration prototypes

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to assess user needs and deliver effective solutions

  • Execute Python scripts and apply automation in network tasks

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in Network Engineering, Linux/Unix, and Python

  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware related to data storage

  • Familiarity with configuration management software, OS software, and directory services

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in data center engineering

  • Previous experience working with Meta

  • Strong documentation skills (runbooks, playbooks, wikis)

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong problem-solving and time management abilities

  • Customer service orientation

  • Team player with the ability to work independently

  • Punctual and reliable

Interview Process:

  • 1 2 virtual interviews

  • Duration: 30 45 minutes each
