Description:

As a Material Coordinator, you will coordinate for production departments the procuring, expediting, producing, and delivering of material on time.

Collaborate and recommend solutions to various teams on gaps for material availability
Support production operators with finding and resolving material shortages
Audit material and ensure accuracy
Resolve inventory errors and expedite parts to ensure uninterrupted production
Work critical shortage reports to ensure part availability
Implement the output from engineering release and change management process
Deviation management and adjustments

Skill Set Requirements:
Supply Management or Manufacturing experience
Excellent people, communication, and relationship management skills
Experience analyzing information to make sound business decisions
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

What Makes You Stand Out:
Two or more years of Supply Management or Manufacturing experience
Material Flow experience and willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
A strong problem solver who can multi-task
Proficient in SAP and data analytics

Education:

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Management, Business Management, Information Technology or Engineering discipline, or 2-3 years of equivalent related work experience

Coordinates the flow of materials and the filling of Kanbans in a department of the factory, which may include shipping and receiving.
Ensures that the production personnel have the parts they need in order to produce the desired product.
Oversees and ensures that the inventory is correct and on time and identifies problems and makes suggestions involving production schedules.
Ensures material logistics follow the client Production Systems principles. Coordinates the activities for the tactical execution of a production plan within a smaller group of the factory.
Typically an initial position in the organization.

Duties:
Coordinates department(s) schedule performance for procuring, expediting, the movement of rejected material to source.
Recommends procedures for specific situations that will maintain inventory accuracy and management.
Finds root cause of material shortages. May provide recommendations for solutions.
Utilizes Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules.
May include the processing of transactions for inbound/outbound materials.
Audits material replenishment cycles and accuracy and may create material replenishment plans with assistance.
Counts and resolves inventory errors and expedites parts to ensure uninterrupted production.
Works critical shortage reports to ensure part availability.

Notes:
Normal working hours first shift, 6:00am-2:30, with potential for OT based on what the production lines are running each week.
