Description
Our client is seeking a Product Engineer with expertise in 3GPP wireless standards, Android and iOS platforms, and Qualcomm diagnostic tools (QxDM/QPST). This role focuses on enabling advanced mobile diagnostics, supporting device and network testing, and ensuring compliance with industry standards across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Implement and validate 3GPP protocols (LTE, NR, VoLTE, IMS) on Android and iOS devices.
- Use QxDM, QPST, and other Qualcomm tools to capture, analyze, and interpret modem logs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, RF, QA) to troubleshoot and resolve device/network issues.
- Develop automation scripts and test plans for mobile diagnostics and field testing.
- Interface with chipset vendors (e.g., Qualcomm) and carriers to ensure device compliance and performance.
- Support internal teams with training and documentation on diagnostic tools and procedures.
- Stay current with 3GPP releases and contribute to internal standards alignment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
5+ years of experience in mobile device engineering, wireless standards, or telecom diagnostics.
Strong understanding of 3GPP protocols, especially LTE and 5G
Hands-on experience with QxDM, QPST, Android Debug Bridge (ADB), and iOS diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with log analysis, ICD decoding, and modem configuration.
Experience with Android and iOS development environments is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
