Title: IP Resident Engineer
Location: Remote
Contract Length: 06 Months
Job Description:
- Resource that will work closely with customer technical team and will be responsible for designing and developing network architectures and IP services on customer network.
- Creating and executing implementation and migration plans.
- Documenting node configurations.
- Testing and supporting in various deployment stages.
- Providing recommendations to optimize network operations and performance and collaborating with customer and Nokia technical teams to enhance product placement and features for reliability, availability, and serviceability.
Requirements:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science or 5+ years equivalent practical work experience.
- IP networking knowledge: MPLS services, IGP (ISIS, OSPF) and BGP protocols, Segment Routing, Traffic Engineering.
- Expertise troubleshooting, monitoring and configuring the noted IP networking protocols.
- Experience in QoS implementation/testing; familiarity with testing tools like Spirent and IXIA.
- Modern Data Center networking design and operations including CLOS networks, Underlay and Overlay technologies, and the networking integration to virtualization platforms k8s, OpenStack and VMWare.
- Nokia products experience (7750SR, 7250 IXR, 7705SAR, 7210SAS, SR-Linux and NSP).
