Summary
As a Integration Specialist, you will design and maintain extraction, transformation, and loading workflows that move data from legacy sources into a staging environment. Your focus will be on automation, performance optimization, and data accuracy to support the new system deployment.
You will also be responsible for writing and optimizing SQL scripts used in profiling, cleansing, validation, and data transformation. You will work closely with the Data Architect to ensure reliable and efficient data processes.
Job Description
Develop ETL scripts and workflows to extract, transform, and load data.
Develop and maintain ETL scripts and workflows to extract, transform, and load data.
Support data migration from STAR and Excel files to the staging database.
Use tools such as Oracle Data Integrator, Microsoft SSIS, Azure Data Factory, and Informatica.
Ensure ETL performance, scalability, and data integrity.
Optimize job scheduling, resource usage, and query/stored procedure performance.
Implement error handling, logging, and recovery logic for failed batches.
Automate data validation during transformation and support data quality rule implementation.
Collaborate with QA for transformation verification and troubleshooting of data-related issues.
Write SQL scripts for data profiling, cleansing, and validation.
Document ETL workflows, dependencies, reusable queries, and views.
Maintain version control of ETL artifacts and participate in peer reviews.
Monitor ETL pipeline performance and manage load balancing.
Coordinate staging refreshes with project timelines and support debugging of migration failures
Ensure secure access to sensitive data and compliance with data security standards.
Provide documentation for the client team.
