Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong experience supporting marketing platforms, digital campaigns, analytics systems, and high-availability customer-facing environments. The ideal candidate combines DevOps, cloud engineering, automation, observability, and production support expertise to ensure marketing technologies run reliably at scale.
This role partners closely with Marketing, Engineering, DevOps, and Analytics teams to drive performance, uptime, and platform optimization.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and improve reliability, scalability, and performance of marketing applications and digital marketing platforms.
Support production environments for CMS, MarTech tools, analytics systems, campaign delivery pipelines, and customer engagement platforms.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for marketing services and web experiences.
Monitor system health, create alerts, and optimize observability using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk, or New Relic.
Troubleshoot live incidents, perform root-cause analysis (RCA), and implement long-term fixes.
Develop automation solutions to reduce manual operations and improve deployment reliability.
Work with marketing stakeholders to understand application performance needs and define SLIs, SLOs, and SLAs.
Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure) and optimize for performance, cost, and reliability.
Support release management, deployment strategies, and real-time campaign traffic scaling.
Implement security best practices and compliance for marketing-related data and assets.
Participate in on-call rotation for production support.
Required Skills & Qualifications
5 8+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Platform Engineer.
Strong experience supporting marketing platforms, web applications, content delivery systems, or data pipelines.
Expertise with cloud platforms: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM, etc.).
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, Shell, Go, or similar).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
Hands-on knowledge of monitoring/observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK, etc.).
Strong ability to troubleshoot distributed systems, networking, and application performance.
Experience working with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS/GKE/AKS).
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with Marketing and Engineering partners.
Must be authorized to work on a W2 basis only.
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting MarTech platforms (Adobe Experience Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, Marketo).
Experience with CDNs and web performance optimization (Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly).
Familiarity with analytics data pipelines and event instrumentation.
Experience working in Agile or DevOps environments.
Certifications in cloud (AWS/Google Cloud Platform/Azure) or SRE/DevOps.
