Description:
Job Title: ServiceNow Engineer (Contingent Resource)

Location: Charlotte, NC (Brevard Office) - Hybrid: 3 days/week onsite

Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension or conversion)

About the Role:

As a ServiceNow Engineer, you will support a strategic initiative to migrate a business-critical application from IBM TRIRIGA into the ServiceNow platform. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement ServiceNow solutions, including CMDB tables and service request workflows. This role requires strong technical expertise in ServiceNow and a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating security risks associated with Shadow IT.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the onboarding of a legacy application into ServiceNow.
  • Design and build CMDB tables and service request workflows.
  • Conduct device scans to identify security vulnerabilities and business risks.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with compliance and governance standards.
  • Analyze and resolve moderately complex software engineering challenges.
  • Contribute to planning and execution of software engineering deliverables.
  • Apply knowledge of policies, procedures, and compliance requirements to support engineering initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering or equivalent (e.g., consulting, military, education).
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience migrating applications into ServiceNow.
  • Familiarity with Shadow IT and associated risks.
  • Background in security or risk management within enterprise environments.

Additional Information:
  • This role is part of a pilot program.
  • Candidates must be located in Charlotte, NC and able to work onsite 3 days per week.
