Job Title: ERP Application Analyst on w2
Location: Paramus, NJ (Onsite at least 3 days/week)
Duration: 12 months
Work Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
Work Type: W2 contract (No overtime or expenses allowed)
Drug Screen & Background Check: Required
Job Classification: Information Technology – Applications Administrator I


Responsibilities

  • Provide techno-functional expertise for PeopleSoft ERP and related systems supporting municipal water utility operations

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance business capabilities, manage system configurations, and oversee business process flows

  • Stay current with finance application trends and industry best practices to implement innovative solutions

  • Work alongside the ERP Technical Manager to develop Help Desk procedures and maintain documentation of systems, SLAs, and support protocols

  • Perform business process analysis, design, and optimization

  • Troubleshoot using tools like SQL and code tracing

  • Understand integration points between PeopleSoft, PowerPlan, EPBCS, and other systems

  • Gather and document business requirements

  • Create functional specifications and solution designs

  • Conduct user training and create documentation

  • Translate business needs into system solutions

  • Perform user acceptance testing and develop test scripts

  • Maintain a basic understanding of PeopleTools


Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution

  • 7+ years of experience in IT and ERP Application Support

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Expertise in PeopleSoft AP, GL, PC, and SCM modules

  • Experience with PeopleSoft 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.59xx

  • Strong SQL knowledge

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work autonomously with proven self-management skills

  • PowerPlan experience preferred

  • Oracle Hyperion/FCCS/EPBCS experience preferred
